Boag's XXX Ale is the oldest beer in the Boag's range, being the first bottled beer produced by the Brewery. It also features in many of the Brewery's heritage posters.
As other Australian beers have come and gone, Boag's XXX Ale has withstood the test of time and is as popular now as it was when first produced in 1883.
This beer has enjoyed a cult following by generations of Tasmanians and is now enjoying a resurgence in popularity.
Brewed using the infusion method as it has been for over a century, Boag's XXX Ale is a light golden beer full of flavour. It has a clean, crisp character with a moderate estery aroma balanced with a good hop bitterness. Only available in Tasmania.
